Wildfarm is alive again! : D I was redoing the layout and somehow it ended up being…orange, still. Haha. (At least there is a semblance of uniformity?) Anyway, there’re actually two new posts (one belated Christmas entry and another Chronicle entry).

I wish to God I win at a lottery so I can get myself a new camera. I don’t even care if it’s not DSLR now. D: Taking pictures with an old 3.2-megapixel cam is…sad.

I’ve changed the domain’s layout to something that is, though still simple, more aesthetically pleasing. I managed to learn something about floats, too, which is going to be a great help henceforth. : D

Together with the layout, I’m surprised at myself for having a newfound determination for quite a lot of things. My acads, for one, especially my JSP1 class, needs it.

As for my non-existent portfolio, I might dump (in a rather neat way) my designs in here first before creating a separate site for it. One of these days, anyway.

Change. Yes, change is scary. I never have the security or the assurance of knowing whether or not that domino of change is good or bad. And I’m always in fear — there is a part of me convinced that I have lost something, that I shall miss that something, and I will never be sure if I will be able to find it again (haven’t I experienced losing something that I have never found again already?).

In the end, I find myself seeking Change myself, because it is inevitable and it is, then, the only solution to leaving behind everything that is unpleasant in the Now.

I do not like February. I hated it with a vehemace. If there was a catalyst for negative change in my life, that would be it. I stopped reading. I stopped writing. I turned to my watercolors but I found my colors dull and lifeless, my ink staining pages with macabre. It was an effort to paint with bright reds, blues, and yellows.

It was an awful month, despite the exciting adventures I squeezed in it like sardines in a can. Too many depressing things that I could have very well just had without. This is why I miss high school. Life was simpler.

Hopefully, March is brighter — and the months that will follow after.

I am looking forward to classes in summer.

School has started. My first day on this year is good enough, though probably not as warm as I wanted it to be (not in the literal sense).

Maybe I just wished there were more hugs and how-are-you’s and how-have-you-been’s and how-was-your-break’s.

I suppose we are busy shuffling into dyads or triads, eager to share common stuff with the people we know most - or with people who have the same concerns as ours.

That aside, I hope this will be a good year. I set no resolutions anymore, but I think the first day of school after the Christmas break isn’t bad enough. I crammed but it wasn’t that bad yet. There’s just some stuff I’ve got to improve on.

Which brings to my attention: ~~Paperback needs a new layout and updates.~~ Paperback has been renamed to Without Coffee, fresh with a new design and a couple of new posts. : D

It’s 2008 already! As the new year comes, Seventh Genesis is also being reorganized! =D Most of the pages are up now, though I’m still left with this void of a space waiting to be filled with content. I lament over the fact that Wildfarm and Novembertown aren’t being updated. >_<;; I absolutely have no excuse for the absence of new content except for my laziness.

I’ve decided to wordpressify Seventh Genesis. I have too much space and bandwidth for my own good, unfortunately. I’ve yet to think of what to do with 400MB of extra, unused space. A portfolio should be seriously considered, though I don’t exactly have clients to show them to.

Ah, well. Not all pages are up yet. I’ll finish them by tomorrow.
